Outdoor kitchens as condo amenities

For amenity decks, clubhouses and pool pavilions, with several stations in one design.

01 Amenities

Condo amenities with a kitchen at the center

For developers, condo amenities are part of what sells a building. For boards and property managers, they have to work year after year. An outdoor kitchen on the amenity deck or at the clubhouse has to satisfy both.

We plan outdoor kitchens for condominiums, master-planned communities, HOAs and private clubs with FREILUFT: several stations in one design, lockable where residents share them, and looked after with a maintenance plan. We currently plan kitchens in Florida, starting in Miami. For hotels and resorts, see resort amenities.

02 One design

One design for amenity deck and clubhouse

A grill line on the amenity deck, a station at the pool pavilion, a kitchen on the clubhouse terrace: every station is planned from the same modules, with cabinet runs up to 126 1/4 in (3208 mm) long, built from cabinets 7 7/8, 23 5/8, 31 1/2 and 39 3/8 in (200, 600, 800 and 1000 mm) wide.

Fronts come in standard colors in fine texture, with nearly all RAL colors available on request, so all stations follow the design of the building. Cabinets, fronts and worktops are made to order in the FREILUFT Manufaktur in Nordwalde, Germany.

03 Shared spaces

Lockable fronts for shared spaces

Where many residents share a kitchen, storage has to be secure. Stations can have lockable drawers and doors with stainless steel locks, available as an option, so grill tools and supplies stay where they belong.

The kitchen is built to stay outside year-round, with storm hooks in the plinth that secure the doors. The kitchen does not need to be covered. For everyday wear there is a touch-up paint pen for small chips and scratches, included with every original delivery.

04 Maintenance

A maintenance plan for the long run

Boards and property managers have to plan the upkeep of every amenity. For the kitchens, daily care is simple. Clean aluminum and the coating with mild soapy water, clean natural stone without acids, and lubricate the hinges twice a year.

We offer a maintenance plan for all stations of a community, for example with a check before each hurricane season. Scope and intervals are agreed per property.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. Several stations are planned from the same modules, colors and stones, so they read as one design. Each station is sized for its place, from a grill line on the deck to a kitchen at the clubhouse.
