What is the difference between Jet Black, Black Gray and Anthracite Gray?

Jet Black is the darkest of the three. Black Gray and Anthracite Gray are dark grays with a slightly softer look. Compare physical samples in daylight before you decide, because a screen cannot show the difference reliably.

How do I choose outdoor kitchen colors for my house?

Start with what stays: facade, window frames, pavers and the countertop stone. Dark tones frame a light house, light tones sit quietly against white walls, and neutrals such as Beige Gray, Olive Green or Desert Khaki connect to wood and planting. Then check the samples on site.

Can you match a specific RAL color?

In most cases, yes: you choose from standard colors in fine texture, with nearly all RAL colors available on request. Give us the RAL code with your request, and check a physical sample before you decide.

Will a black kitchen show dust and salt spray?

Dust, pollen and dried salt spray are easier to see on very dark surfaces, as on a black car. Regular cleaning takes care of it. Clean aluminum and the coating with mild soapy water, clean natural stone without acids, and lubricate the hinges twice a year.

01 Black

Planning a black outdoor kitchen

A black outdoor kitchen reads calm and architectural, next to white stucco as much as next to dark wood and planting. In the PureAlu Cabinetry System, the dark end of the range covers Jet Black (RAL 9005), Black Gray (RAL 7021) and Anthracite Gray (RAL 7016), plus Dark Gray Iron Mica (DB 703) with a mica finish.

The details can follow the color. The system has magnetic base panels in Jet Black (RAL 9005) as standard, or in the cabinet color on request. The draw tube and the roof duct come in Jet Black (RAL 9005) as standard. A black kitchen can stay black from the plinth to the flue.

03 Texture

Fine texture, or matte on request

Every standard color comes as a fine-texture finish, slightly matte with a subtle grain. It is applied as Off-Shore powder coating with a chromate-free, nano-ceramic pre-treatment, the surface of the PureAlu Cabinetry System.

For a softer look there is a matt finish on request. A touch-up paint pen for small chips and scratches comes with every original delivery.

04 RAL colors

Outdoor kitchen colors to match your house

Facade, window frames, shutters and pavers already set a palette. The cabinetry can follow it: you choose from standard colors in fine texture, with nearly all RAL colors available on request. Tell us the RAL code, or show us what you want to match.

Settle the color together with the layout. Production starts once the layout drawing is approved; after that the layout can no longer be changed.

05 Samples

Colors on screen, colors in hand

A screen shows colors only approximately, and iron mica and effect colors least of all. The physical sample decides.

Look at it outside, in morning and evening light, next to your stone and your facade. Ask for material samples together with your design consultation.

Questions about a black outdoor kitchen

Frequently asked questions

Any surface in direct sun warms up, and dark colors more than light ones. If the kitchen stands in full sun, plan shade from a lanai roof or pergola, or choose a lighter tone. Under a roof, color is mostly a question of look.
